- PLAIN CITY -- Renita Faye (Miller) Gingerich, 50, of Plain City, Ohio, died in her home Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, after a battle with hyperthyroidism and cancer. She was born June 26, 1964 in Dover, Ohio, daughter of Noah J. and Edna C. (Miller) Miller of Baltic, Ohio. She was a faithful member of Bethesda Fellowship. She was strong in her faith and a loyal wife, mother and friend. Renita displayed the touch of God through her gift of growing and arranging flowers. Her dream of working with plants was realized through their family business at Yonie's Greenhaus. On March 21, 1992, she was married to Jonathan Gingerich. He survives, along with their three children, Jonita Nicole, 21, Jolynn Daniel, 20, and Micah Emerson, 17. Also surviving are her parents, Noah J. and Edna; sister, Anna Marie Miller; and brother, Josias (Sharon) Miller, and Lance, Jaden, and Kylie, all of Baltic, Ohio. She was preceded in death by three infant siblings, Delilah, Jeffrey and Jason. Calling hours will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, and from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 12, 2015. Calling hours and funeral will be held at United Bethel Mennonite Church, 11342 Lafayette-Plain City Road, Plain City, OH 43064.
